What is the REAL impact of dropping 20% of your clients?

Is the impact more time, less money or maybe less headaches, more joy. This month we will use a tool called the Pareto Analysis to answer this deceptively simple question. All participants are requested to complete the analysis before the meeting so that we have real data to share. Remember with knowledge comes power and if we know the make-up of our client base, we can respond so that we are better able to serve our client base.
This discussion will be lead by Shannon Vincent, Founder of ReNew Group (  Shannon has dedicated his entire career to working with accountants in various capacities.
Since 2001, Shannon has consulted with Top 100 firms to Sole Practitioners, helping them create sustainable and profitable businesses.  Most recently, Shannon has acted as a Consultant, Coach and Strategic Thought Partner to a range of accounting businesses in the United States including consulting on growing their firms, succession plans, improving profits and quality of life.

Note from Margaret:  With Shannon's guidance, I did this analysis on my own client base a few years ago and I found the results gave me a much better understanding of my practice.  It also gave me more confidence to make the changes I needed to make.
The East Bay MAP committee (“Management of an Accounting Practice committee”) focuses on management issues confronting CPA firm owners, managers and prospective owner/managers. Margaret Schopp (925) 689 2200
