Sharf Mark M
Bio: Mark Sharf has been practicing law in Los Angeles since 1988, and formed his own firm in 1994. Recently he merged his practice with Merritt & Hagen, to form Merritt, Hagen & Sharf, LLP. Mark is a graduate of Boalt Hall School of Law (J.D., 1988) and received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (B.S. Econ, 1985). Mark’s practice emphasizes litigation in the bankruptcy courts. He has substantial experience in the areas of cash collateral litigation, assumption/rejection of executory contracts and leases, and all other aspects of reorganizations under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. He also has experience prosecuting and defending fraudulent conveyance, preference and non-dischargeability cases. His creditor practice emphasizes asset management, both in connection with obtaining bankruptcy court authority to foreclose on real and personal property as well as the enforcement of creditors’ rights to rents collected by debtors. He has represented Bankruptcy Trustees in various litigation matters over the years.
