Personal financial planning issues evolve in an increasingly challenging environment where it's harder to keep up with important and timely changes. Looking forward, CPAs must prepare for the unexpected, and be in tune with new approaches. CPAs must challenge clients to stay focused on their goals, while managing expectations and striving for realism, in order to achieve objectives.

We'll focus on the newest changes in personal financial planning, and preparing for new opportunities related to income tax, retirement and estate planning issues. An examination of Form 1040 line-by-line from a financial planning perspective, will provide dozens of opportunities. In particular, those with an emphasis on retirement and estate planning strategies.
